Program
El Centro offers its workers a free, drop-in legal clinic. Students from the University of Denver Law School, under the direction of a Law School faculty member, and volunteers visit El Centro to offer legal assistance to workers on a regular basis. The DU Law School students maintain an on-site legal clinic office. Day laborers and low-income workers use our legal program to receive advice, legal representation when problems arise (i.e. unpaid wages), to learn about collective action and workers' rights.
